Atlas Antibodies, owned by Patricia Industries, is a leading provider of advanced reagents for biomedical research. Born from the Human Protein Atlas project, we manufacture highly validated antibodies and solutions, contributing to increased global health and well-being by enabling ground-breaking medical discovery, better diagnosis, and patient outcomes. As part of Atlas Antibodies, you have the possibility to follow the products from development to shipping to customers, since all functions are gathered under one roof in our beautiful facilities in Forskaren, Hagastaden. We currently own two other companies, HistoCyte Laboratories based in UK, and evitria based in Switzerland. Your Role
As our Quality & Compliance Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring Atlas Antibodies continues to operate in a sustainable, compliant and well-governed manner. You will own and continuously develop an effective and appropriately scaled Quality Management System based on ISO 9001, aligned with the needs of Atlas Antibodies. You will be key in driving governance, risk and compliance processes, and support the organisation in meeting evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements.
Working closely with the Management Team, executive leadership, and stakeholders across the wider Group, you will help build and maintain the structures, processes and ways of working that enable Atlas Antibodies to operate efficiently while maintaining operational excellence, transparency and strong risk management.
An important contribution to this role is to support our sustainability agenda, including planning, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. You will support our ongoing sustainability journey and contribute to our evolving CSRD reporting and compliance requirements.
Tasks and Mission
This is a highly cross-functional role where you will collaborate with leaders and colleagues across the organisation and Group. Acting as a trusted advisor and driving force within governance, risk and compliance, you will help ensure that Atlas operates in line with regulatory requirements, internal standards and business objectives.
Your key responsibilities include:
Act as a business partner to Management, process owners and functional leaders in matters related to quality, compliance and governance across Atlas Antibodies and the wider Group
Own and continuously develop our integrated Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring effective implementation, compliance and continuous improvement
Secure document control and governance of controlled documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, templates and quality records
Manage deviation handling, including investigations, corrective actions and follow- up activities
Be the system owner for our electronic Quality Management System (e- QMS)
Lead and coordinate the development, review and implementation of local and Group policies, and act as Policy Owner for relevant quality and compliance related policies
Support subsidiaries with quality system development, audits, policy implementation and governing documentation in alignment with group requirements
Together with the Atlas Antibodies Management Team, ensure compliance to existing policies and guidelines
Plan, prepare and lead Atlas Antibodies internal and external audits
Drive and support a risk-based approach across the organisation and ensure that appropriate risk assessments, including process and supplier risk assessments, are performed, documented and followed up where required
Coordinate governance and compliance activities across our annual business cycle
Support sustainability initiatives and reporting at both tactical and operational levels
Prepare documentation and presentations for the Board of Directors and Management regarding policies and directives as well as corporate governance
Your Qualifications & Personal Profile
To thrive in this role, you combine strong structure and analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. You are confident in your expertise, comfortable working independently, and able to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
We believe you bring:
3-5 + years of experience working with quality systems, compliance, governance or similar areas
Experience working with ISO 9001
Experience managing projects and driving initiatives independently
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
Relevant academic degree
It's considered as meriting if you have:
Experience with sustainability reporting and CSRD- related topics
Auditor experience
Experience from working in, or with, a laboratory or life science environment
Experience from Lean or Operational Excellence principles and methods
Experience from ISO 13485, GMP or other highly regulated environments is an advantage, provided you are comfortable adapting your approach to a business with a different level of regulatory complexity
Experience working independently in a small organisation or lean team environment
